Macklin Celebrini returned to the lineup and scored a goal during a narrow defeat to the Edmonton Oilers. The young attacker, after being out of action, appeared in the game with another youngster Will Smith, who played in the big league. Even with the defeat, the Sharks found a positive moment as Ivar Stenberg scored his first career NHL goal in a separate game against the Boston Bruins.
