Canada's public broadcaster, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, has made several significant announcements in recent months. It has appointed Ms. Yang as head of digital originals, which includes small-scale dramatic productions. Additionally, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation has published a Northbeat report analyzing the recent midterm elections in the United States. Furthermore, the CBC is negotiating with Germany for the acquisition of submarines, with initial orders for 8 and potential future orders for four more. Defence analysts warn that lowering submarine procurement could impact Canada's influence with suppliers.
